Radio
For those who haven’t read the ‘Me, Myself and I’ page (and to be honest, I don’t blame you) I am a BA Radio student at Bournemouth University. As well as that, I have also done some stuff on some RSL and community radio stations. This page will showcase some of my work (where copyright regulations allow that is…)
| TUBE CHALLENGING: A 20 minute piece based on the Tube Challenge, the Guinness World Record to go between all 270 London Underground stations in the shortest time possible. I joined, then former, world record holder Andi James as he attempted to regain the record in the summer of 2010. (Jan 2011)Click here to listen to it on this website, or click here to listen to it on Soundcloud. | |
| FAT AND FRANTIC: An interview I did with a couple of members of the band ‘Fat and Frantic’ before their final date on a reunion tour in the summer of 2011 at the New Wine festival, UK. (July 2011)Click here to listen to it on this website, or click here to listen to it on Soundcloud. | |
| STANLEY AND MILLER: LOCAL DETECTIVES CASE 1: THE CASE OF THE MISSING PIG:Â A re-record of the original first episode of Stanley & Miller. Recorded as part of my uni course, and presented here. (Jan 2012)Click here to listen to it on this website, or click here to listen to it on Soundcloud. |

NERVE* RADIO DEBATE ABOUT OCCUPY BOURNEMOUTH:Â During BU’s student radio Nerve‘s FM broadcast at the end of March, the Student Hour, hosted by Dom Garcia, had a live panel debate in Dylan’s Bar when the ‘Occupy’ movement set up camp on the University’s grounds. The technical set up was done by me, hence its inclusion here.Click Here to listen to this piece on the Nerve Radio website. (external link) |
| THE FUTURE AS SEEN THROUGH BACK TO THE FUTUREÂ II:Â Another piece of work from my course, this 10-minute ‘podcast’ takes a look at some of the aspects of the future as seen in the film Back to the Future IIÂ and asks whether, with three years to go until we reach the ‘future’, where are we? (April 2012)Click here to listen to it on this website, or click here to listen to it on Soundcloud. |
